It's been a long time since I've fallen in love with a city. The arbitrariness of corners.

I just now found a wireless cafe in Germany, and tomorrow I am leaving to a different city only to not get online again, I am sure. I am sad to leave Berlin; I have grown very fond of this place. But moving on from here means one very good thing -- moving a little bit closer to returning to nights of wet grass, my favorite blonde holding her hands in new ways and still ways all the time, home to where keyboards don't move around their letters just to confuse me, to walking my dog, to finding new places in which to get lost and still be home by lunch, to drinking tequila on Smashley's back steps, to pouring milk places milk shouldn't be, to driving to my sister's house on last minute's notice, to songs sung in english, to loads of crap and nothing but crap in my backseat, to making movies and long lists of things we eventually get around to doing.
I miss you, most complex woman I've ever known. And wish you could be here because things always open from different corners when you're around, and corners are so much lovelier near you. Sorry I have been away from the computer for so so long. I needed a vacation a lot more than I knew. I needed a new definition for vacation. I need to travel again soon, but closer and with the windows of my car rolled down, ending every phrase in prepositions, propositioning strangers in strange ways, maybe only talking about it, getting gas at the station and buying a piece of candy to surprise you.
It's a week until i'll be back home.
Call this a postcard quickly sent. I bet you're sleeping right now. It's 5:26 a.m. there.
Love,
t.

Beautiful. You typically write amazing things
to go with your pictures, but this wins.
Truly.

A "whole" body is a language
without bones and suddenly something will
roll you over, sharp with ravine, sudden and
succinct with something serene and slippery,
to rise with greenhouse evaporation and to
let the grass inform you of it later.
Lovely. I hope you're well.
